Top Upcoming Cars to Watch Out For

There are several upcoming cars which are about to launch in India and auto enthusiasts are eagerly waiting for these beauties to be launched.

Hyundai-Grand-i10-Nios

  1. Hyundai Grand i10 Nios N Line & CNG– This is a sporty N Line variant of the Grand i10 Nios which may launch in the near future for the Indian market. It could get the petrol 1.0 litre engine from the Venue in addition to a 6-speed manual transmission system.The performance based N Line variant may be used to drive sales volumes while a CNG version is also on the cards.

  2. Tata Altroz– The Tata Altroz is expected to launch early next year and will take on rivals like the Toyota Glanza, Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Honda Jazz and Hyundai Elite i20 among others. The Altroz will be a premium, feature packed SUV and has already attracted car lovers with its compelling design.

  3. Maruti Suzuki XL5– The XL5 will be a premium version of the WagonR and could launch early in 2020. It will be priced higher than the regular version and should get the same platform with more features and design enhancements. This version could be sold via NEXA outlets.

  4. Kia Stonic– Kia Motors could consider launching its Stonic in the Indian market which has the same signature tiger nose upfront along with rugged design tweaks including body cladding and headlamp units which are more conventional as compared to the Hyundai Kona.

    The roof design is unique and inside, there will be contrasting bright components for the trim along with a floating touch screen unit. This B-segment SUV offering may also get 1.25 litre and 1.4 litre gas engine options along with a petrol 1.0 litre turbo mill. The crossover has not been finalized for India as of yet but could make for a really enticing proposition for Indian buyers.

  5. Renault HBC– Renault India is reportedly working on a sub-4m compact SUV which is codenamed as the HBC and will take on the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport, Hyundai Venue and Tata Nexon in its segment along with the Mahindra XUV300.

    The HBC may sport a radical and more evolutionary design from the Renault Kwid with body cladding and a split headlight design which will differentiate it in this segment. It will have the same CMF-A platform used in the Triber and Kwid. This 5-seater SUV may get only a petrol engine option along with 5-speed manual and automatic transmission options as per reports.
