The Tata Tigor facelift is already here. It has not been more than a year and a half that the Tigor had been launched and the company thought it would be a sane idea to offer a mild facelift to the car.
This would also give the car an impetus during the festive season. The Tigor is already quite stylish and the cosmetic upgrades along with the array of new features would definitely give the car an added advantage.
Tata Tigor Features
The new Tigor would get an updated front due to the diamond shaped grille. There are chrome bits and dual chambered projector headlamps as well with a chrome finish. There are chrome accents on the fog lamps in the bumper.

Also, the wheels are new 15-inch dual-tone alloys. The crystal-inspired LED taillamps give the car a premium look. There is an LED high mounted stop lamp as on the rear windshield. The Tigor definitely looks much better than before.
Tata Tigor Interiors and Features
There is fabric insert on the door trims and the cabin gets new leatherette upholstery too. The satin chrome accents on the air vents and the infotainment system make the interiors look absolutely cool. There is a top-spec XZ+ trim where the Harman infotainment system comes in, supporting the Android Auto video playback.
The facelift also gets a reverse parking camera along with guideways. There is also a fully automatic temperature control with electrically adjustable and folding wing mirrors. There is also a glove box with a height adjustable driver’s seat.
The Tigor has a whopping 419 litres of capacity in the boot. The safety features include ABS with EBD. The chassis is reinforced with high strength steel. A seatbelt reminder for the driver is also present.
Tata Tigor Specs & Engine
There would be no change with the engine. The same 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine would be powering the car. The diesel variant has the 1.05-litre Revotorq diesel engine. The petrol engine offers 84 bhp of power and 114 Nm of peak torque. The diesel engine gives 69 bhp of power and 140 Nm of torque.

The vehicle would still get driving modes along with the AMT option for the XZA trim, the top petrol spec. The diesel variants do not get the AMT variants. Only a 5-speed manual transmission is available.
Tata Tigor Prices
The prices of the new Tata Tigor facelift start from Rs. 5. 20 lakh. This is so for the petrol variant. The prices go up to Rs. 6.65 lakh. The diesel engines start from Rs. 6.09 lakh and the prices extend up to Rs. 7.38 lakh.
The Tigor has been a very successful car since its release more than a year ago. But the automaker does not want to limit its potential. Tata has been in the Indian market for a long time and understands the expectations of the people.
