MFC Buying Guide – Tata Manza

TATA group – a name that is taken with respect and signifies trust, not only in India but throughout the world. They launched their automobile segment, TATA Motors a very long time ago, and today it is a USD 42 billion company and is a leading manufacturer of a wide range of vehicles including sports vehicles, cars, buses, defense vehicles and trucks. The TATA Manza has premium and elegant features which makes it one of the best seller club class sedans from TATA. Both the exterior and the interior designing have been carried out with considerable care and there is an amazing experience associated to drive it around.

As far as the exteriors are concerned, the sedan has got a stylish bonnet. The large front grill with horizontal chrome slats and sporty bumpers are stylish. The headlamps are trendy and provide a great illumination and the fog lamps are also stylish. From the sides, the car has a sleek and clean look with 15 inches alloy wheels.

The car also has a stylish rear with trendy tail-lamps. TATA Manza has got the best in class cabin space as well as boot space. It is spacious and has the dimensions of 4413 mm in length, 1703 mm in width, and 1550 mm in height. The car has a wheelbase of 2,520 mm. It appears with 460-litres of boot space and fuel tank capacity of the TATA Manza is 44 litres. Ventilated disc brakes have been provided at the front and the rear has been fitted with drum brakes. The suspension system is taken care of by Macpherson strut at the front and twist beam type suspension at the rear.

The interiors have got a stylish instrument cluster with highly effective AC vents. Under the hood the diesel version has the 1.3 L engine which gives back a power of 90 Ps and a torque of 200 Nm. The petrol version has a 1.4 L engine which throws back a power of 90Ps and a torque of 116 Nm. There is a 5+1 speed manual gear box which takes care of the transmission.

TATA has also taken care of the safety and security features. The TATA Manza has structured robust body which takes care for the safety of the passengers. Apart from this the model has been provided with child safety locks, ABS and dual airbags. To double the security there are front and side impact beams which have been fitted on all doors for enhanced security. All front facing seats have been provided with seat belts and centrally mounted fuel tank and collapsible steering also ensure additional security for the occupants. Overall the TATA Manza is a good purchase as far buying a sedan in India is concerned.
