Fiat showcased the Urban Cross back in 2016 but now it has been launched and people are really excited about it. When you first look at it the Urban Cross might look similar to the Fiat Punto. But there are certain changes which have made these two vehicles stand out.
The host of changes, quality of Fiat and other important aspects have made the Urban Cross talk of the town. So are you interested to buy the new Fiat Urban Cross? Then make sure you read our guide to know every important detail about the car.
Fiat Avventura Urban Cross Features
Have a look at the features which will help you to decide whether the Fait Urban Cross is for you or not.
- The Fiat Urban Cross will come in two diesel and one petrol variants for the urban consumers.
- The headlamp has been given a new look which is more extended and features a LED tail lamp.
- The new, coloured and more spacious cabin has been designed for the Urban Cross.
- New aluminium-finished skid plate has been placed in this car which looks premium.
Interior and Comfort
The interior of the Urban Cross looks spacious and feels really comfortable. The colour combination which has been integrated into the cabin helps the car to get a more premium feel. The seats have received a dual tone finish and you can also choose the red shade leather. However, the seats could have been more comfortable if they received better cushioning.
The back seats and space will be comfortable for those who are below the height of 6.1 inches because otherwise, you will have a difficult time spending long hours due to the low roof structure. Space becomes tight and you may feel cramped with the leg space as well.
5-inch touchscreen system is there for your entertainment needs. The screen is responsive but the UI is outdated. It does not work with a USB but with the Bluetooth. Dual Front Airbags are missing in this car.
Engine and Performance
Under the hood, the Urban Cross comes with two engine variants – 1.4-litre T-Jet petrol with 140PS/210NM and the 1.3-litre Multijet engine with 93PS/209NM. Both the engines have been integrated with a 5-speed manual gear transmission. The engine can deliver a mileage of up to 17.4kml after a few months of diving.
The car can reach 0-100 km/hr within 9.45 seconds. Even when the car reaches 100km/or the passengers will not feel much jerk or discomfort, thanks to the brilliant suspension. Both the engines feel refined and allow smooth steering.
Final Verdict – the Fiat Avventura Urban Cross can range anywhere between Rs. 6.78 lakhs to Rs. 8.10 lakhs depending on the variant and features you opted for. The car packs a well-off comfort level, not the best, however. But the performance might change the minds of many people. It can deliver a good performance in urban scale and also for a long drive down the road.
