Know More About The Upcoming SUVs in India
Not even a year old, the Chevrolet Trailblazer has already got a facelift that’s headed to India! The new Chevrolet Trailblazer 2017 is likely to come at a price of Rs. 27 lakhs (ex-showroom). According to reports, it will not witness too many mechanical changes. It will continue to draw power from the 2.8L Diesel that powers the current SUV. This engine churns out 197 bhp and 500 Nm. Its transmissions options will include a 6-speed automatic. Also, the Trailblazer in India will not receive an optional four wheel drive.

Chevrolet Trailblazer Facelift
The only significant mechanical change will the introduction of an electrically power assisted steering or EPAS. The mileage figures should be somewhere around the 12 kmpl mark. When it comes to the exterior design, the biggest changes include sleeker headlamps, new split chrome grille, revised front bumper, and updated fog lamps. The cabin will also features some noteworthy changes such as, an all-new dashboard design, the vertical AC vents featuring chrome surrounds, an updated version of the MyLink touch-screen infotainment system, etc.
New Mitsubishi Pajero Sport
Coming to the New Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, it has enjoyed a successful run in the Indian car market so far, and now, the makers have unveiled the details of the updated version. It will reportedly be launched sometime during the festive season of 2017. Falling under the price bracket of Rs. 25-30 lakhs, the SUV is expected to be powered by a 2.4 litre, turbo charged diesel motor producing 178 bhp and 430 Nm of torque. There will be a four-wheel drive system on offer and transmission duties will be carried out either by a 6-speed manual or 8-speed automatic. It will give an estimated mileage of around 10-12 kmpl. The car gets an Outlander-inspired ‘Dynamic Shield’ front design with elements like signature headlamps, secondary air dam, the GR-HEV inspired X-shaped grille, etc. It not only looks more contemporary but also claims to be safer and more robust than before. It will also flaunt a host of comfort and connectivity features in the interior such as a touch-screen multimedia infotainment system, instrument binnacle on centre console, new four-spoke multifunction leather wrapped steering wheel, etc.
Renault India is all set to offer Indian car-buyers the Kaptur- a small SUV/crossover which will sit above the Duster in the manufacturer’s line-up. At a starting price of Rs. 10 lakhs, this car will get a spacious interior. For its Indian innings, it will be equipped with a 1.6 litre petrol and a 1.5 litre Diesel engine. While the former gets a 5-speed manual gearbox, the latter will get a 6-speed unit. The mileage for both the models should be roughly 13kmpl and 17kmpl respectively. As far its exterior design is concerned, the Renault Kaptur SUV will look sportier and more modern as compared to the Duster. Thanks to the ground clearance of 204mm, it will enjoy a high stance. The car will feature a wider grille, new bumper with C-shaped LED daytime running lights, new 16-17 inch alloy wheels, and tail lamps with LED elements. The highlights of the interior include, a MEDIA NAV system that comes with a 7-inch touch-screen interface, a digital speedometer, steering mounted audio controls, Bluetooth, keyless entry with start/stop button and cruise control.
