Fiat Punto Karbon and Linea Royale Limited Editions Finally Launched
Fiat India has finally launched the limited version Punto Karbon and Linea Royale in the Indian car market. The limited edition models come with a few cosmetic changes which are mostly on the exteriors as well on the interiors of the cars. There are no new changes on the mechanical part as well as on the equipments list on both of these cars.
Fiat`s Limited Editions Cars
Fiat Punto Karbon – The new limited edition Fiat Punto Karbon has been endowed with new all black interiors and body graphics on the exterior for a sporty look. The exteriors come with a blacked out roof with dark alloys and sporty graphics and a Karbon badge, while the interiors have been given leatherette covers with sporty feel.
Fiat Linea Royale – The Fiat Linea Royale on the other hand comes with a blacked out roof as well and black alloys along with Royale badge on the exterior. The interiors come with a dual tone black and orange theme with the diamond stitching of the seats. These limited edition models are available on selected variants only.
The Fiat Punto Karbon and the Linea Royale have carried over the same set of engines and continue to be driven by the same engines as in the existing models. The 1.3 litre MultiJet diesel engine generates 93 PS output with 209 Nm of peak torque in both the cars. On the other hand, the 1.4 litre FIRE petrol engine in the Punto generates 68 PS output and 96 Nm of max torque. The 1.4 litre petrol engine in the Linea is on sale in two states of tuning namely the 90 PS and 115 Nm and the 125 PS and 208 Nm torque in the T-Jet variant.
According to car experts with a good understanding of the car market, Fiat India needs to launch new models in the Indian car market. The Punto and the Linea have been there in the Indian automobile market for quite a long time now, while their competitors have moved on with newer and better cars. It is true that car enthusiasts still swear by the handling traits of Fiat cars. But, they really need to upgrade themselves in this competitive market and launch new cars in the country if they want to strengthen and improve the presence of their brand in our country.
